Our Archery Beginners course is ideal if you want to learn archery and upon completion will be able to shoot unsupervised. You will learn about the equipment, how to shoot safely, and about range etiquette.
The Beginners Course is a basic requirement needed to join any archery club and is based upon the Archery GB Beginners Course recommendations. The course consists of four 3-hour sessions held on set dates and times through the year. You will be taught by qualified coaches and experienced archers.
We provide you with instruction on shooting different styles, and support your first milestones in learning the skill of archery. We also supply all the equipment you’ll need. On successful completion of the course you can consider yourself an archer, be able to join an archery club and can then participate in our club sessions
The courses consist of four 3 hour sessions held on the dates and times shown and will be held indoors. You will be taught by qualified coaches and experienced archers. We provide all the equipment needed for the course

"Both my wife and I have been looking for an activity that we could both compete in, archery was our choice. We have been told about the Harvester Archers training course so decided to give it a try. The welcome we received was fantastic and we felt right at home immeadiatly. The training was excellent and all technical and health and safety rules / methods were explained in full. Both of us are now members of the club and have bought our own equipment. Other members are always on hand to share their expertise and to assist with further training and coaching. This was a superb decision and we are both addicted to the sport."

"Really enjoyed the four week beginners course and getting to learn different bow techniques. The coaches are patient and answer all your questions (and I had lots of them!). Great to have the opportunity to meet the club members and get a feel for how friendly the club is... I'll be joining up and looking forward to shooting outdoors for the first time too this summer!"
