About Us

Our History

Harvester Archers is a target archery club based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.  The club was originally established in 1952 with support from the International Harvester Company, a major agricultural machinery manufacturer, best known for its tractors and other farming equipment (later to become known as J Case Tractors). The club later became a separate, self funded organisation.

Our club is not just about archery; it’s a social hub that brings together individuals with shared interests, creating friendships that might not have formed otherwise - and we'd love to have you join us!

Archery With A Disability

Archery is recognised as one of the most inclusive and accessible sports there is. There are all kinds of adaptations that can be made depending on your disability, and our coaches and instructors are trained in supporting you.  Both are ranges are wheelchair accessible.  Please speak us for more details and so we can answer any questions you may have (see our Contact Us section).

How Do I Join?

It is a requirement that anyone joining the club has completed an Archery GB beginners’ course either with us or with another Archery GB-affiliated club. If you have shot previously and wish to take up the sport again you may not have to complete a beginners’ course; our coaches will assess your level of knowledge and competence.
